DIARY // MOVING IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION // 16th March 2008

The last few weeks of India and Malaysia made the trip to South Korea even more worrying but upon landing in Seoul I cannot tell you how pleasantly surprising it was. Jeju Island is one of the top holiday spots in Asia and is possibly the cleanest country I have ever been too, including Japan.

The Ballantines Championship was one of the best tournaments we have on tour and I definitely will be back next year, as I think most people who played will be. It was also nice to play well at the end of a long trip and finish on a positive note with a solid Top Ten performance. It wasn't quite enough to get me into the World Golf Championships at Doral but it's another move in the right direction.

I felt like I had been working on the right things over the last couple of weeks and that every aspect of my game had improved. It always seems that I just get going and then I come into a break! If I could get those feelings at the beginning of a stretch of tournaments I could really do some damage. It's not a bad thing though as my break is well earned and I am looking forward to a month off before returning to China when we start getting into the meat of the season.

In my time off I will be back in the States and returning to my college at Augusta for a bit of recuperation and a few weeks practice. Lots of work on the basics and short game and hopefully I can continue the form that I feel I was just coming into.

Have a good Easter and I'll speak to you in a month.
