DIARY // FRUSTRATING // 02nd June 2009

The European Open last week at the London Club was another frustrating week for me following Wentworth. Tee to green I was pretty good but again I really came up short on the greens. Making 34 and 37 putts in the first two days just isn't good enough. I felt like I should have been competing but obviously I wasn't holing the putts so I am a little bit frustrated with it at the moment.

My neck injury had also flared up a little so I thought it wise to pull out of the Wales Open this week and concentrate on getting everything in good shape and ready to go for the US Open. My schedule in the following months is very busy. We still have a long season ahead of us so I think it's important to get myself fully prepared for it.

I will be back in action in a couple of weeks in New York.
